Our Easter weekend was quite busy and one that will be remembered for a long time. On Saturday morning, Mylani participated in her first organized Easter Egg Hunt hosted by a local church. There were over 30,000 eggs and so many kids we were afraid that a trampling would occur. Being that it was our first "organized" event, we forgot to bring a basket for the egg collection. Luckily for us, we had tons of "doggy poop" bags in the car and quickly turned one into a workable collection device. Despite the little setback Mylani had a blast!
Saturday evening was extremely special as Will and Mylani attended their first Daddy Daughter Dance together. Mylani was so excited about dressing up, getting a corsage from daddy, and dancing the night away. Word from those in attendance said Mylani rocked the house (are you surprised?) with Will barely keeping up with her on the dance floor. The two topped off the night by enjoying some frozen yogurt from Fresh Berry (the Oklahoma version of a Pink Berry and Yogurtland).
Easter Sunday was cold with non-stop rain throughout the day. We attended a dramatization of the Life of Christ which helped us remember and appreciate the true beauty of Easter. What a wonderful weekend!
